OMP AIR is a game-changing advancement in racewear, setting unprecedented levels of breathability and lightness. This new technology is the result of a completely redesigned fabric compound that delivers maximum performance without compromising on safety, comfort, and customization freedom.

OMP AIR has been developed to keep the driver’s body temperature constantly optimized even under the most extreme conditions, improving race performance.

The competitive advantage of OMP AIR is ensured by two high-tech fire-retardant fabric layers working together. The inner lining, common to all AIR models, is completely new – lightweight, soft to the touch, and available in white or black.

Homologation - FIA-8856-2018

FIA increases the safety in motorsport with the release of new standard FIA 8856-2018 for fire retardant race-wear.
The new standard establishes the requirements for design and performance in terms of increased protection against flames and against heat transmission, mechanical resistance and tensile strength.
