The Simpson Quick Release system for Hybrids and HANS devices dramatically reduces the fuss of disconnecting your helmet from the FHR device.
The Simpson quick release helmet posts with there distinctive yellow pull cords can only be fitted on approved helmets with a M6 bolt threaded washer, helmets homologted to FIA8858-2010 and Snell SA2010 and on all newer homologations. These can NOT be fitted on earlier helmets.
These quick release posts require the Simpson Hybrid QR Tether or Simpson QR HANS tether to operate.
Kit comprises of quick release helmet posts with pull tethers, and bolts for securing to the helmet.
